It's not just about numbers

71,500

That's the number of people who visited the TUBE and Wire 2018 last week and once again made it to a successful event.

Thus, the number of visitors increased significantly compared to the 2016 exhibition. The number of exhibitors has also increased as well as the exhibition area.

Messe Düsseldorf has summarized these and other interesting facts about the evaluation of the fairs in its final declaration.

The facts speak for themselves. The TUBE 2018 was a success.

These facts are good news. Very good news. After hard, difficult years, during which the whole industry had to suffer, that vital impulses did not materialize, the good and clearly improved economic situation is a cause for joy.

But a fair is not just about facts and figures. It's about much more. It's about people and emotions. For a long time, the TUBE is no longer an event where big deals are signed at round tables. Hardly any exhibitor still goes home today with the so-called full books.

Nonetheless, no exhibitor or visitor is without profit. The bags are packed with interesting encounters, intensive information exchange and lots of priceless news. Especially in contact with business partners a greater  and  deeper understanding of each other is created, which increases the quality of cooperation. This is even more true for foreign partners.

Even if in business only results are counting and every company has to be judged by them, selling and purchasing are always building and cultivating relationships, too. It is always about human beings.

We as LPC were again exhibiting at the TUBE this year - after a longer break. Following the motto - together stronger and better - we were part of the joint stand of the Fachvereinigung Stahlflanschen e.V.. We are enthusiastic about this concept and hope that you also liked it.

Now it is time to say thank you, which I - on behalf of the team - like to do.

First, I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to visit us at the booth. You have given us interesting, exciting and sometimes funny moments of exchange.

Of course, I would also like to thank all customers and suppliers who have welcomed us at their stand and taken the time to exchange ideas.

I would like to thank the Fachvereinigung for the great organization and execution of the fair.

I also thank the colleagues and co-exhibitors of the joint stand for their support and good cooperation. Of course, the fun has not come too short.

A big thank you to everyone who has crossed our path, developed new ideas with us or just laughed together with us.

Last but not least, my thanks go to the LPC team, which is just great.

We look forward to seeing you again at the # TUBE2020

Binding greetings from Bremen - Let it be good

Claudia Münster
